Project Information

Identify the proposed solar installation.

System Requirements

Operating conditions used by the engineering pipeline.

What does this mean? Residential is for homes and small apartments. Industrial / Commercial is for shops, offices, workshops and larger business loads; it uses three-phase equipment where appropriate.
What does each system type mean?
  • Off-grid: runs independently of public power. Batteries store energy for night-time and outages.
  • Hybrid: combines solar, batteries and grid or generator supply. It can use stored solar energy first and switch source when needed.
  • Grid-tied: works with public electricity and normally has no backup during an outage unless separate backup equipment is included.
Average daily peak sun hours for the project location.
Required battery autonomy in days. For grid-tied systems this may be zero.

Battery Preference

Optional battery chemistry preference. The engineering pipeline remains responsible for the final battery selection.

Show batteries configured for hybrid inverter systems.
Generators are offered as a catalogue alternative when their output and stored energy meet the load.

Electrical Load Audit

Define the appliances and operating profile that the solar system must supply.

Add each electrical appliance that will be supplied by the proposed system. Enter the quantity and expected operating hours per day.
